In support of these product lines, IFUS has added additional information through its White Paper Part 1: Intact Nutrition™ (Intact Digest™ & Intact Endurance™) with Nutri-Mastic™: Effect of Chios Mastic Gum (Pistacia lentiscus) combined with Ionic Minerals on Cardiovascular Function: Introduction and IFUS Point 1.”
Like previous White Papers, this new information can be found at Part 1b Intact
Nutrion with Nutri–Masc Effect of Chios Masc Gum (Pistacia lenscus) combined with Ionic Minerals on Cardiovascular Funcon – Impact Fusion Internaonal, Inc. or htps://www.impacusionbrands.com/knowledge–base/part–1b-intact-nutrion-with-nutrimasc–effect–of-chios-masc-gum-pistacia–lenscus–combined-with-ionic-minerals-oncardiovascular–funcon/
Intact Endurance™ focuses on athletic performance. If said performance is to be improved, then understanding the Gut-Organ Axes becomes paramount. Initially, IFUS is focusing on the Gut-Heart Axis, as our IFUS Scientific Team concurrently works on the Heart-Brain Axis.

The newly added information continues to explore “The Gut” and the various “axes” that are affecting Human and Animal Health and Well-Being, while offering evolving thinking as to more natural ways in which to make these “axes” more “intact”…so as to improve the health and well-being of all living things (and doing so in an eco-friendly, cost-effective, and sustainable manner). In support of this, the diagram below, illustrates (a) the linkage of the gut to various organs in the body and (b) the effect that gut microbiota have on the linings of the Human Digestive System.

Figure 1. Schematic diagram depicting the influence of GM dysbiosis on the gut–organ axis. GM dysbiosis leads to the degradation of mucin, disrupts the gut’s protective barrier, increases its permeability, and enables pathogenic microorganisms, along with their by-products and endotoxins, to infiltrate. This invasion results in the activation of immune cells and triggers systemic inflammation through the peripheral circulation. The impact of GM dysbiosis extends beyond the gastrointestinal tract. Recent research indicates two-way interactions between the GM and various organs, emphasizing the idea of a “gut–organ axis”. This communication is facilitated through a range of signalling pathways and direct interactions between the host and the GM. Arrows indicate a bidirectional relationship between the gut and each organ.
Parts of the figure were drawn using pictures from Servier Medical Art. Servier

The “signalling pathways and direct interactions” are believed by many to be the role of ionic minerals either imbalance or missing.
“Moreover, the connection between the gut and the heart extends to the autonomic nervous system. The “gut-brain-cardiac axis” field focuses on how the nervous system mediates communication between these organs [17]. The
| vagus nerve, for example, is critical in transmitting signals between the gut and | |
| the heart, influencing heart rate, rhythm, and arrhythmia risk.” | |

Notwithstanding the critical nature of the Gut-Heart-Brain axis, it is important to consider the Gut-Heart Axis, especially considering the number of deaths or near-death experiences impacting amateur and professional athletes.
B. Petek, M.D. et.al, “Sudden Cardiac Death in National Collegiate Athletic
Association Athletes: A 20-Year Study” AHA/ASA/Circulation Journals, Volume 149, Number 2, Nov.13, 2023 https://doi.org/10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.123.065908
The aforementioned article cites some 123 additional studies.
Furthermore, R. McKelvie, MD, PhD, Western University, “Sudden Cardiac
Death in Athletes,” MEREK Manual Professional Version, Aug. 2024 offers, “An estimated 1 to 3/100,000 apparently healthy young athletes die suddenly during exercise. Males are affected up to 10 times more often than females. Basketball and football players in the United States and soccer players in Europe may be at highest risk (1).
Ref. 1: Maron BJ, Haas TJ, Ahluwalia A, et al: Demographics and epidemiology of sudden deaths in young competitive athletes: From the United States National Registry. Am J Med 129:1170–1177, 2016. doi:

What if these athletes are actually caring bacteria, specifically H.pylori, that to this point have NOT been diagnosed, and the H.pylori is actually the root cause of their heart issues as well as possible undiagnosed neurological issues?
What if for the greater athletic community, H.pylori (or other undetected microbes) in the gut are (1) suboptimizing their performance, (2) shortening their performance life-cycle, (3) allowing for long-term damage that could be mitigated or ameliorated, (4) allowing for greater possibilities of long-term brain injury, and/or (5) producing any number of health-related issues? And, the same can be asked of the general population?
New evidence is presented in IFUS’s recent addition of content to the White
Paper. The newly released version of the White Paper (considered to be a
Work-In-Progress) offers plausible scientific evidence as to the Effect of Chios
Mastic Gum (Pistacia lentiscus) combined with Ionic Minerals on
Cardiovascular Function, whereby information is offered as to the efficacy of
Chios Mastic Gum in the treatment of H.pylori with subsequent linkage to Cardio-Vascular Disease. For example, IFUS Point 1g-4, IFUS Point 1J-2, IFUS Point 1, and IFUS Point 1H-2 and H-3.
In summary, the science is stating:
- A huge % of people go undiagnosed for heart disease as the present NO symptoms based on presently established protocols.
- Of patients shown in post-mortem autopsies, the VAST majority how showed NO symptoms tested positive for H.pylori infections.
- Of patients with CVD, again the majority tested positive for H.pylori.
- Hence, numerous studies link H.pylori to CVD.
- These studies suggest that detection of H.pylori serves as a better CVD diagnostic tool as compared to many present-day CVD symptom-based testing.
- These studies are linking H.pylori to any number of biomarkers like NLRP3, CAM1, Cytokine Production (e.g., TNF-alpha) and more.
- Chios Mastic Gum has been clinically demonstrated to combat H.pylori as well as affect many of the biomarkers (like TNF-alpha) so as to reduce the on-set or progression of CVD.
As one of many examples, is a study released just this year (Alabrahim, O.A., Azzazy, H.M.ES. Enhancing the therapeutic potential of Pistacia extracts: a review of nanocarrier-based strategies. Phytochem Rev 25, 853–889 (2026).
https://doi.org/10.1007/s11101-025-10149-y). The IFUS Scientific Team’s review of the document revealed the following:
It is IFUS’ contention that it has, in fact, overcome the poor bioavailability issues by fixing the low aqueous solubility and rapid degradation issue by emulsifying the Chios Mastic Gum (an oil-based compound from Pistacia lentiscus) in ionic minerals and water by creating (a) a nano-emulsified product, (b) a clathrate compound, and/or (c) some other chemical structure that allows the oil-based nature of Chios Mastic Gum to become solubilized in an ionic-mineral water-based solution.
This discovery of the aforementioned study is a result of efforts to continue an exploration into “The Interconnection between Gut and Heart Health.” The IFUS
Scientific Team is reviewing substantive studies on (a) the NLPR3 Inflammasome,
(b) the Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule-1, (c) TNF-alpha, (d) Cytokine Production, (e) Gut Microbiota, and more…all linked to human disease and diminished human performance through the various axes that connect the gut to the heart, the brain, the liver, the kidneys, and more. Of profound interest are links to the efficacy of Chios Mastic Gum in providing relief to these human aliments, as a supplement, a homeopathic ingredient, and/or a pharmacological solution to any number of acute and chronic illnesses and diseases as supported by:
Assessment report on Pistacia lenscus L., resina (masc)

IFUS STRONGLY recommends that every shareholder and stakeholder fully read the European Medicines Agcncy “Assessment report on Pistacia lentiscus L., resina (mastic).” The full report shown above can be found on the IFUS Website at Supporting Documents Archives – Impact Fusion International, Inc. or https://www.impactfusionbrands.com/knowledge-
base/category/studies/supporting-documents// The Full Report offers information on historical supplementation and homeopathic applications, along with significant and emerging pharmacological data on Chios Mastic Gum supported by scientific studies and patient trials. More is to come, as this is but the tip of the iceberg with what our IFUS Scientific Team is discovering of late.
As an example, an excerpt from the report under the heading “Bactericidal effect of mastic, mastic oil, or mastic fractions/constituents against Helicobacter pylori” offers the following:
“Marone et al. (2001) and Bona et al. (2001) assessed the antibacterial effect of mastic on the clinical isolates of H. pylori at concentrations of 2000 to 1.9 µg/ml. The MBCs, calculated by microdilution method showed that mastic exhibited remarkable bactericidal effect on 12 strains isolated from patients of H. pylori, killing 50% of the executives in concentration of 125 μg/ml and 90% at concentration of 500 μg/ml. Furthermore, the microscopic observation of the morphology of the bacteria by electron emission led to the conclusion that the resin induces the release of air bubbles, the challenge morphological anomalies and segmentation of cells of H. pylori. It was also attempted to place the bactericidal property of mastic on H. pylori in arabino-galactan proteins (AGPs) isolated from the resin (Kottakis et al., 2009). Specifically, the inhibition of growth of H. pylori in the presence of aqueous mastic extracts containing AGPs was studied. The results showed that the extracts of at least 1.4 g resin affect the viability of bacterium, preventing cell growth. There were no indications if AGPs cause abnormal morphology in H. pylori, as mentioned for total mastic (Bona et al., 2001).”
The aforementioned is but one (1) example of an incredible wealth of information as to the efficacy of Chios Mastic Gum contained with Intact Digest™ and Intact Endurance™. It provides dosing guidance and other substantive information on the application of Chios Mastic Gum, It also serves as a launching point into deeper science that is allowing the IFUS Scientific Team to further validate guidance to our customer base on ALL IFUS Products.
Once more, we remind everyone that these White Papers are living documents serving as a repository for our “Knowledge Base.” Hence, as new science is revealed, trials are complete, and/or testimonials are added, we update the respective White Paper, accordingly.
Here are excerpts from this recent updated White Paper on Intact Digest™ and Intact Endurance™ as it relates to cardiovascular health:
We begin with insight into a “Schematic representation of ‘gut-heart’ axis.” As illustrated below we find connection to Cytokines, TNF-alpha, TLR-4, and
TMAO:

Source: Shruti Ahlawat, et.al; “Gut–organ axis: A microbial outreach and networking,” May 2020 Letters in Applied Microbiology 72(6), DOI:10.1111/lam.13333
Furthermore, we find additional evidence in “Table 1: List of studies on disease-associated gut microbiota (GM) alterations for establishing a link between gut and other organs via ‘gut–organ’ axis.”

We are reminded that the intention of this series of White Papers is to provide plausible links of claims (made by the users of our products) and science like that provide by S.A. Blomquist, et.al., (“Mastic Gum: A Promising Phytotherapeutic for Cardiometabolic Health.” Nutrients 2024, 16, 2941.) and offered below:

Greater detail from the illustration above will be provided in IFUS Point 2: Chios Mastic Gum (Pistacia lentiscus) and discussed in future updates.
“With the (1) ‘Assessment report on Pistacia lentiscus L., resina (mastic)’ provided by the European Medicines Agency, (2) the S.A. Blomquist, et.al., study published in Nutrients in 2024 titled “Mastic Gum: A Promising Phytotherapeutic for Cardiometabolic Health,” (3) any number of scientific studies published in juried journals…many of which are now providing specific statistical trials on diseases identified and/or managed through the application of Chios Mastic Gum, and (4) the broader scientific knowledge garnered for centuries as to the application of Chios Mastic Gum for both health and supplementation, the science being uncovered by our IFUS Scientific Team seems to be offering ‘smoking-gun evidence’ as to the efficacy of Chios Mastic Gum. When overlayed to our Intact Digest™ and Intact Endurance™ product lines, one begins to ask more serious questions as to application and beneficial efficacy of these products as supplements and beyond in the mitigation and/or amelioration of human illness and disease. However, until we can offer further science to that effect, we hold that our supplements, when used properly with good dietary regimes and other health bestpractices, can offer humanity a reinforcement of what is good and healthier. Hence, each iteration of research reviewed, when reconciled to claims by customers who report successful and beneficial outcomes from the responsible application of our products, provides insights into the application of Nutri-Mastic™. It would seem that providing better application guidance is requested and the European Medicines Agency is offering information to that effect. Hence, I have directed our IFUS Scientific Team Members to continue with a broader and deeper initiative that will provide us with further elucidation as the potency and application requirements to further enhance what we believe to be the efficacy of our Intact Digest™ Product Lines, plus all lines utilizing Nutri-Mastic™. For example, mixing both Intact Digest™ and Intact Endurance™ into Orange Juice is evolving as a potential bestpractice for taste, but more so added efficacy. As we learn more, we will certainly offer these new learnings in our corporate “Knowledge Base” and provide an update to you. In doing so we believe we can continue to expand our IMPACT on our stakeholders in a positive manner…for soil, plant, animal, and human health through safe, cost-effective, and eco-friendly, and sustainable supplementation. This remains our most fundamental outcome. And, in doing so, we believe that you, our shareholders, will benefit,” said Marc Walther, CEO of Impact Fusion International.
